“Gaudí inspired his architecture on nature. He looked at the perfection of nature, which contained, order, harmony and symmetry, but which wasn’t quite perfect, but let room for creativity, as if it was a little off. This is what Gaudí sought to imitate in his architecture, the Creation of God.” This is is the gist of what I learned from Etsuro Sotoo when I met him and heard speak him in a Conference in Lima in 2003, organized by Sacro.
Sotoo converted to Catholicism because of Gaudí, and now there is news about Gaudí’s possible future canonization. It is Sotoo who is shown on the video below.
