Saturday, January 16, 2021:
8:00am meet at St. Joseph: 600 Galapago St, Denver, CO 80204
9:30am arrive at: Cheesman Canyon Fishing Access Trailhead, 23785 Co Rd 126, Pine, CO 80470
1:00pm back to cars
3pm back to St. Joseph
We’ll be hiking Cheesman Canyon Trail. This is an 5.3 mile out and back trail with +475ft elevation gain. We will be walking along a beautiful river, so start practicing your rock skipping form! We will also have the option of hiking 2.4 more miles with an additional +700ft elevation gain to check out a higher view of the reservoir. Be sure to bring your Microspikes because there will be icy parts on the trail! Also, bring a mug for some hot chocolate.
