Digital Marketing Internship
Creatio is offering a Spring semester internship designed to gain insight into practical, non-profit related experience with an emphasis on social media marketing and design. As a junior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to learn and work on projects with a goal of guiding all people to encounter the beauty of creation and the Creator. The internship is unpaid but may include a project trip sponsored by Creatio.
Who We Are: Creatio is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit Catholic organization in the state of Colorado, and our mission is to guide all people to encounter the beauty of creation and the Creator through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure, and environmental stewardship.
What We Do: Creatio works to promote this mission of reconciling human persons with the environment through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship. Through these experiences, we work to create an environment of encounter – encounter with God, with ourselves, with others, and with creation. Creatio members are volunteers, professionals, and friends working to address environmental and human issues on a deeper level. Our goal is to facilitate an active transformation of ourselves and others, as well as the environment.
Start date: May 2019
Commitment: 3-15 hours per week for three months or longer
Location: Remote or Denver, CO
Work with Creatio Executive Director to generate marketing ideas and bring them to production
Create image and video posts for various social media platforms
Use Hootsuite to post to multiple social media platforms
Interact with potential participants and partners via social media
Shoot and edit high-quality photos
Assist with Google AdWords updates
Assist in development of Creatio Marketing Plan
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of marketing via Facebook Insights and Google Analytics
Shoot and edit high-quality videos (desired)
Qualified Candidates will Possess:
Strong passion for digital marketing
Desire to learn about non-profit industry
Excellent organization and prioritization skills
Proactive and willing to pitch in wherever needed
Basic understanding and willingness to learn design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
Photo editing skills
Bonus: Video editing skills
